I moved to Dubai in 2019 to start my career in marketing properly, right after finishing my MBA with a specialization in marketing and digital marketing. Dubai turned out to be one of the more demanding places to learn the job — a bilingual audience, competitive costs, and businesses that expect results rather than theory.
Since then I've worked with a number of companies as a marketing and digital marketing specialist, moving between in-house roles and direct client work. That work never stayed limited to one channel. I've built and run SEO programs, managed social media accounts, planned branding and corporate branding projects, sent email campaigns people actually open, and run performance marketing across several ad platforms.
My work has never stayed confined to the UAE either. Over the years I've worked with businesses and teams in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Kenya, and India, alongside companies here in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Different markets mean different buying behavior, different platforms, and different ideas of what a "good" cost per lead looks like — working across all of them is what's kept the job interesting.
On the Google Ads side specifically, I got certified not long after arriving in Dubai and have kept every certification current since — Search, Display, Shopping, Video, and GA4 — for more than five years now. That eventually led to Google Partner status, which Google reviews on an ongoing basis rather than granting once and forgetting about.
If you're reading this page because you're hiring for a marketing role, or because you need someone to run a specific project, the answer is the same either way: SEO, social media, branding, email marketing, performance marketing, and Google Ads, learned across more than one market, over more than five years.
